With a little cold front coming through this morning the Peacock Bass were tough in the morning. As the day went by though the Peacock Bass became active and the pictures show the day we had. We managed 12 nice Peacock Bass up to 5 lbs. Not bad for our first time on this different system. All of these fish were caught with rattletraps in very shallow water. While South Florida is staying warm our fishing should be heating up now. The largemouth bass on Lake Okeechobee and the Florida Everglades will be getting better by the day. As long as the water stays warm the Peacock Bass fishery will remain good through next summer.
