The fishing in South Florida for peacock bass and largemouth bass is still quite good. We decided to fish for a half-day for bass yesterday and boated 15 bass up to 4 lbs. After about 11:30 am we had to head back to the ramp because the South Florida heat and thunderstorms were getting the best of us. The summer is a good time for peacock bass and largemouth if you know when and where to fish. Peacock bass usually love hot water and fast moving baits because their metabolism is high.
